Buyers accept a 14 week build far more calmly when they receive a fortnightly two line update with a photograph of their machine on the shop floor than when they receive silence followed by a delay call. FAT sign-off, e-way bill and dispatch on one thread
Factory acceptance test documentation is the highest friction paperwork in the whole cycle, because it needs the buyer's QA signature before you can invoice and dispatch.
