Why we built this
India's WhatsApp BSP market had a regulatory whitespace.
In 2025-26, the regulatory ground beneath Indian WhatsApp messaging shifted faster than any BSP cared to admit. The DPDP Act 2023 introduced consent-grade audit log obligations for every promotional message. The RBI Master Direction for microfinance institutions (Sep 2022, amendments through 2026) mandated specific borrower-communication patterns for repayment reminders and recovery flows. IRDAI's Cashless Everywhere framework reshaped how health insurers send pre-auth status updates. Section 194BA added 30% TDS at withdrawal-event level for online gaming, NHCX FHIR-R4 became the spine of pre-auth interoperability, and the AIGF Code of Conduct redrew responsible-gaming notification rules.
Every Indian D2C, BFSI, healthcare, EdTech, and gaming brand we spoke to had the same problem: their BSP did not know any of this existed. The market was full of generic dashboards built for global e-commerce, retrofitted with a rupee sign and a Razorpay logo. Compliance officers were asked questions their BSP could not answer. Risk teams escalated. Marketing teams shipped templates that violated regulations they had never read.
Across the 80+ deep-research playbooks we have shipped, the same pattern repeats: the brands cohorting 1M+ monthly messages — across microfinance, quick-commerce, fantasy gaming, cashless health claims — were spending more on compliance retrofits than on the platform itself. The opportunity was obvious: build the BSP that ships with the regulation depth on day one, charge ₹0 platform fee plus transparent direct pricing, and let the playbooks speak for themselves.

Why we built RichAutomate
The Indian WhatsApp Business Solution Provider market in 2025 had two recurring patterns: opaque per-message markups hidden behind monthly subscriptions, and one-size-fits-all billing that forced every brand to either hold a Meta credit card or accept inclusive pricing they could not negotiate. Neither served high-volume fintechs, neither served bootstrapped D2C brands, neither served marketing agencies reselling to clients.
