Questions

How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in Singapore?

With RichAutomate you pay a plan from S$12 per month, plus S$0.0026 per message and S$0.0051 per 24-hour conversation window. Meta charges its own rate for Singapore recipients (about S$0.094 per marketing message and S$0.020 per utility or authentication message) straight to your card, with no markup from us.

Do you charge in Singapore dollars?

Your RichAutomate wallet is charged in US dollars. The Singapore dollar figures on this page are converted at about S$1.28 per US dollar (rate as of 29 October 2026), so the amount on your card statement can differ slightly with the exchange rate.

Does RichAutomate add a markup on Meta message rates?

No. Outside India we only offer Client Pay: Meta bills your business directly, at Meta’s own rate, on the card in your Meta Business Manager. RichAutomate earns only the plan and the small per-message and per-window fees shown here.

What happens to the monthly plan fee?

Your plan fee is credited to your RichAutomate wallet. Per-message and per-window fees are then taken from that balance, so the plan is not an extra cost on top of usage.

Is there a setup fee or a contract?

No. There is no setup fee and no lock-in. Plans are monthly and you can cancel at any time.

Are replies to customers charged?

Since 1 October 2026, Meta charges nothing for the first 1,000 free-form service replies per number each month, sent inside the 24-hour customer service window. Beyond that it charges its service rate (about S$0.020 for Singapore). RichAutomate’s S$0.0026 per-message fee applies to every message you send.

What do Singapore’s Do Not Call rules mean for WhatsApp marketing?

WhatsApp marketing messages to Singapore numbers fall under the PDPA Do Not Call rules. Either hold clear consent from the customer, or check the number against the DNC Registry (a check is valid for 21 days). Bulk messages also need a working unsubscribe option, honoured within 10 business days under the Spam Control Act. RichAutomate tracks opt-outs per contact so you can stop sending straight away.

Can I use my existing Singapore business number?

Yes, as long as it can receive an SMS or voice call for verification. A number already on the WhatsApp Business app can be moved to the API, or kept on the app alongside the API with coexistence. Book a demo and we will check your number with you.
