How a Chennai diagnostic labs chain cut support load 47% with WhatsApp report delivery
A Chennai-headquartered diagnostic labs chain operating 112 collection centres across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala was drowning in inbound report-status calls. Two-thirds of their 380-seat call centre was handling the same three questions on repeat. We shipped a WhatsApp-first report delivery flow, an IRDAI Cashless Everywhere intimation hop into NHCX, and a repeat-test reminder cadence. Support load fell 47% inside one quarter, report-delivery NPS climbed 32 points and the labs reabsorbed 180 seats into higher-value insurance-claims processing.

Shipped a WhatsApp report-delivery flow: HL7/FHIR feed from the LIMS triggers a utility template the moment a report is signed, with the PDF as an encrypted document attachment.
Built an IRDAI Cashless Everywhere + NHCX intimation flow on Meta Native Flows — single tap to pre-authorise cashless at the counter, FHIR-R4 payload routed to NHCX in under 9 seconds.
Layered a clinically-tuned repeat-test reminder cadence (Day 180 / Day 330) per panel, opt-out via STOP, with a one-tap "book home collection" deep-link back to the booking app.
Decommissioned all 112 centre-level personal WhatsApp accounts; consolidated onto one tenant with branch-level inboxes, satisfying DPDP localisation + IT Rules controller-of-record requirements.
Re-skilled 180 call-centre agents from report-status answering to cashless-claim processing and high-AOV booking conversion — a net revenue-generating motion.
